Manzanita Harmony is dedicated to bringing the joy of music to the community through performances of a diverse choral music, from classic barbershop to contemporary TTBB arrangements.

What Shall We Do with the Drunken Sailor - arr. Parker/Shaw

 Manzanita Harmony presents a captivating rendition of the classic sea shanty, "What Shall We Do With the Drunken Sailor", arranged by Alice Parker and Robert Shaw. With this rich and resonant arrangement, Parker and Shaw taking the us on a thrilling journey across the high seas. The lively rhythms and spirited harmonies are sure to get your toes tapping and your heart singing along. 

Java Jive - arr. Bluegrass Student Union

 Manzanita Harmony performs "Java Jive," the classic swing tune arranged and popularized by the renowned barbershop quartet Bluegrass Student Union. With their tight vocal harmonies and rich blend, the men of Manzanita Harmony bring this beloved song to life, channeling the spirit of Bluegrass Student Union and putting their own unique spin on the classic arrangement

 This setting of the 8th century Latin text is arranged by Ola Gjeilo, a contemporary Norwegian composer and pianist, living in the United States.  "Where charity and love are found, God is there."
